Korea EITC Calculator 🧾

September 1–15 is the half-year filing window. Enter your household type, pay, and assets to see your expected earned-income and child credits before you file.

Why the amount is hard to guess

Korea's EITC is not "less income, more money". The credit follows a mountain-shaped curve — rising with income, plateauing at the maximum, then declining toward the ceiling — and is further filtered by household-type rules and a two-step asset test (halved at 170M KRW, excluded at 240M KRW). The child credit adds its own income test on top. This calculator implements the statutory tables so all three conditions are applied at once.
