🗿 Stone Tower

Tilt to balance and stack your wishes one floor at a time!

How to Play

Inspired by the Korean tradition of adding a stone to a roadside tower while making a wish, this game asks you to stack stones on an ever-swaying tower. The higher you build, the stronger the wind — the top sways wider and faster, and every off-center stone slowly tips the whole tower. Recover by stacking on the opposite side or landing a perfect drop before the balance gauge hits red.

Controls

  • Tilt mode (mobile): Tilt your phone left and right to move the hovering stone, then tap the screen to drop it. Allow motion-sensor permission when you first start.
  • Touch / mouse mode: Drag on the screen or move the mouse to aim, then tap (click) to drop. Works exactly the same on desktops without sensors.
  • Keyboard: ←/→ for fine aiming, Space or Enter to drop.

The Physics of Balance

  • Landing: A stone that lands nearly half its width off-center slips and falls. The closer to center, the safer.
  • Perfect drops: Land near dead center for a "Perfect!" that heals half of the tower's accumulated lean. When you're in trouble, a perfect is your way out.
  • Cumulative lean: Keep missing in the same direction and the whole tower tips over. Watch the balance gauge and stack on the opposite side to recover.
  • Wind: Sway grows wider and faster with every floor. Reading the rhythm of the swing and timing your drop is the key to high scores.

Tips for High Scores

  • Aim for the turning points: The tower swings like a pendulum and slows briefly at both ends. Time your drop for those moments and your accuracy jumps.
  • Yellow gauge? Take a beat: Rushing another stone onto the same side sends you straight to red. Wait one full swing cycle and aim for the opposite side.
  • Floor 10 is where it really begins: That's when the wind picks up. Keep the gauge as green as possible early on to bank a safety margin for the long climb.

Records and Rankings

Your score is the number of floors stacked. As you approach your personal best, a golden record line appears on screen to raise the tension, and towers of 3+ floors can enter the world ranking with your nickname. Don't sweat a collapse — you can always stack again.
