When you need this tool

Upload size limits on forms and job applications, page-speed budgets for blogs and shops, slow photo sharing in chat — original photos (usually 3–8 MB) cost you in all of them. This tool handles resizing, quality compression and format conversion in one pass, and most importantly, files are never uploaded to a server. IDs, contracts and personal photos can be processed with total peace of mind.

How to Use

  1. Pick an image: drag & drop or use the file button.
  2. Set the size: by percent or by target width/height in pixels — aspect ratio is kept automatically.
  3. Format & quality: JPEG (photos) / WebP (web-optimal) / PNG (transparency), with a quality slider.
  4. Convert → Download: check the size savings and save.

FAQ

Q. Where are my images stored?

Nowhere. Everything runs in your browser via the Canvas API — files are never sent to a server.

Q. Which format should I choose?

JPEG (quality 80–90) for photos, WebP for web uploads (20–30% smaller than JPEG at the same quality), PNG when you need transparency.

Q. Can I shrink the file without visible quality loss?

Quality 85+ is nearly indistinguishable to the eye while cutting size dramatically. Reducing resolution as well multiplies the savings — 1920px wide is plenty for the web.
