ID photos never have just one spec
ID photo sizes trip people up more than you'd expect. The standard is 3×4cm (354×472px at 300DPI), but passports want 413×531px and a US visa needs a 600×600 2×2-inch square. Cropping a high-res studio original to each spec by hand is tedious. This tool offers size presets for one-click crops, and since your face photo is never uploaded, it's safe to use.
Supported sizes
| Spec | Pixels | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Standard (3×4cm) | 354×472 | Print / most employers |
| Passport (online) | 413×531 | Passport renewal |
| US Visa | 600×600 | 2×2 inch |
How to use
- Load a photo and pick the size preset you need.
- Drag the bright area (dashed frame) up/down/left/right to align the face — updates live.
- Download an exact-pixel JPG.
If a site has a size limit, resize afterward with the Image Resizer; convert iPhone photos with HEIC → JPG first.
FAQ
Q. Why do specs differ by site?
Each employer and government portal sets its own pixel and file-size rules. Presets here cover the common ones; always check the submission page too.
Q. Is my face photo uploaded?
No — cropping and saving run in your browser (Canvas).
