What to hide before uploading

A single photo holds more personal data than you'd think. The name, address and phone number on a shipping label in a marketplace listing, a license plate in the background, a friend's face in a group photo on social media, account numbers in a screenshot — post them carelessly and it can come back to bite you. With one drag you can mosaic or black out those spots, and since files are never uploaded, the hiding itself is safe.

How to use

  1. Load a photo and drag over the parts to hide — applied instantly.
  2. Mark multiple spots; undo removes the last one.
  3. Raise the mosaic strength or use "blackout" to hide completely.
  4. Download when done. Original pixels are overwritten, so it can't be reversed.

Use together

  • After hiding, use the EXIF Remover to strip the GPS coordinates baked into the photo.
  • Finally, Image Resizer shrinks it for faster upload.
  • "Hide → strip location → resize" is a safe upload routine.

FAQ

Q. Can the hidden part be recovered?

No. Mosaic and blackout overwrite the original pixels, so recovery is impossible — keep your original separately.

Q. Are photos uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser (Canvas), so even IDs and shipping labels stay private.
